Do I need to trace the probe from above as it\u2019s travelling through the duct or pipe?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

No, the probe records data autonomously, it does not need to be traced while travelling through the pipe or duct.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

The smallest required duct diameter currently is 29 mm or 1.1 inch.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

What is the longest distance I can measure?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

The recommended maximum waypoint spacing is 1500m\/5000ft.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

What is the maximum measurement depth?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

There is no maximum depth as it does not need any above ground tracing. If the pipe is waterlogged, consult the probe\u2019s specifications for maximum water depth.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

How long does a typical measurement take?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

A trained crew can complete a 300m length pipe segment in accordance with the Reduct recommended operational procedure within one hour.<\/p>\n

This includes setting up pulling winches and preparing pipe and probe, performing the mapping, analyzing the mapping data, and restoring the site back to original condition.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

What qualifications do operators require?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
